| | My knee was feeling the slightest bit of annoyance, and I wasn't planning to run today, but I iced, and stretched, rolled and this morning I ran a slow pace and it didn't give me much if any grief. :) I really am thankful that I can listen to my body, and that I haven't had much injury since the summer. If I need to take a break the next few days and elliptical instead I will. It might be good to change it up anyways. Well just play it by ear.
I had a wake up call the last few days... and with out going into too much detail. Ill just end with, I'm really grateful for the good things in my life and since November is the season to give thanks.. I'm going to try and focus a lot on that these next few months.

| | 0 miles! 1 hour on the arc trainer, and 30 minutes on the elliptical or as Lily puts it, Elliptical HELL! Today we move into a new building for work. 15 minutes further. Which means it puts me the grand total of a half hour drive. Which means I'll be getting ready at the gym. As promised though I said I would try to focus on the positive and you know what? Even though it is a little bit of the drive.. The free way should be completed in December, and I'm sooo grateful for my employment, PLUS bigger desks and window seat, so not to shabby right? :) | Comments(2) |
| | I gotta give my self credit. This was the hardest work out ever! Last Sunday I got the flu and it's been kicking my freakin butt! 6 miles on the TM and 30 minutes elliptical. I figured sweating out all the toxins was the best way to expedite getting rid of this beast. | Comments(4) |
| | Lots of weights! Today was a weight day. Short mileage. 3.25 slow miles. 20 minutes walking. It's intentional. Love me some easy days. Tomorrow Ill be pushing harder! | Comments(1) |

| | I got some good mileage and I even did some speed work outs. I haven't pushed speed at all this fall/winter. In fact I'm rather slow...but meh. Beats getting hurt! Anyways... Most of yall are waaaaaay out of my league but I DID get down to 7:47 minute mile and held for a good portion of time. It was a good work out for me, considering all the calories to be consumed. :) Happy Thanksgiving. | Add Comment |
| | Today was rough. The speed yesterday made today HARD, but I did it! That's all that matters. (to me anyways) | Add Comment |
| | Easier today :) . My goal mileage for the week is 30. So I'm proud I was able to get closer. I generally don't hit it. My will to work out is not always greater then my devotion to sleeping in. Either way, I'd call this week a success. | Comments(5) |
