Lifes battles dont always go to the fastest or strongest man but sooner or later the man who wins is the fellow who thinks he can.

Many of lifes failures are from people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up

Personal:

I am Kira Morris I am 23 years old and Married to My Husband James Morris We have been happily married for 4 years now

I am new to the running world but I have been exercising and trying to stay fit for about 3 years now

My Dad died when I was 16 years old, and a lot of my family has health issues so eating right and being Healthy is important to me.

I know I can do hard things, and I don't believe in giving up. I also think Life is what we make of it and that Happiness is a choice

I am excited for Life and where it takes me

Weights. 4.30 miles on TM. 50 minutes elliptical. Stretches.

Ran on the TM for 3.0 miles... Then did 45 minutes of SPIN!!! So FUN! and then ran another 2.0 (wasn't planning on running again, but then I thought what the heck? I feel good why not?) I gave in and had a cherry coke zero and it TASTED so good.

Ran 10.3 miles on the TM! So proud of myself! I just woke and said... I think Ill run 10 miles today... I wasn't really sure if I could do it or not yet... but I was going to give it shot. Luckily I had half a caffeine chew and friends to keep me motivated. I even got some SPEED in... at one time I got down to about 8:05 minute pace and held it for a few minutes. Which is progress for me! This made me feel confident. Did some serious stretches. Weights, and then elliptical for 19 minutes I don't know why exactly maybe just to cool down ... Probably just because I had the time! No work today!!!

4.23 miles on the TM. A few minute cool down walk Today was supposed to be speed work, but there are two TMS that I run on... One is black and one is grey... The black one is more bouncy... and there weren't any open... So I did run faster but not as fast as I would hope for and not as long. 30 minutes Elliptical. 38 minutes Arc machine. Left 10 minutes early and no weights. I needed to tan and then get my arse ready to go! Mom's Birthday Party is today!! She is 50 years old and is PROUD... Way to be Ma!

Now that I am all settled into my new place. I have a new motto. "new house... new habits!" So I hope I can do a repeat of last week, and hit more mileage and the gym more frequently. I'm doing what I did a few months ago, and typing this  out for those  of you (if any) that do read this... It will keep me accountable! Going the rest of the week! Weights. 8 ish miles on the TM. I lost track of time. First 3 miles was at 8:34 pace... Then I started gabbing and slowed down a little. 10 minute cool down elliptical. Stretches.

Weights. Arc Machine for almost a hour. 4.87 miles on the TM. Very slow recovery shake out run.

23 minutes elliptical. 7.47 miles on the TM. The first 3 or so miles were hard. I did a speed work out. I got down to 7:30 minute mile pace. The remaining was just a normal run.

Funny story, I posted on FB about how po dunk Spanish Fork is especially the gym and the tanning salon, and today they got new machines.. and by new I mean actually new! Not the hand me downs we generally get. They are okay... not sure how I feel about them yet.

Weights. 6.0 miles on the TM in 55 minutes. .50 cool down walk. 40 minute elliptical. 18 minutes arc machine. Lots and lots of stretching. Now house work. I count that as a work out too! Feeling overwhelmed. Anyone wanna come help ? ;)

3.0 miles at the track. Less then 30 minutes, but I am a LOOOT slower outside... Time to start running more outdoors so I can get stronger, faster, and all around better runner!
