| | 9 miles on the TM. 9:22 pace. Farthest time yet :) This was easy...! I told Jeff a friend from the gym that I ran 8.16 miles and he was impressed...It made me feel good because he runs a lot. He does this Nike challenge thing so even though I don't know his mileage, its gotta be ton! I don't run to impress or beat anyone.. I run for myself and make personal progress but its always nice when someone takes time to notice and appreciate the hard work you do. | Comments(3) |
| | Ran a dinky 2 miles on the TM. Didn't want to run too much after yesterday.. plus give me some recovery time if I decide I want to run tomorrow. I feel sore. Blah. 50 mins on the elliptical and 50 minutes on the arch trainer. No one was at the gym today.. SWEET! | Add Comment |

Did the elliptical for a hour in a half. I would have ran, but when you wake up before even the sun rises.. I dont always trust myself on a machine that I could easily fall off of. At least the elliptical you have handles. Good people good talks. I love the gym. :)

I did speed work today. Well... I wouldn't call it "speed" work cuz I am not very "speedy" but my general pace is about 9:22 and I did 9:05 for about a third of the time and 8:49 for a few minutes. So I guess I'll call it progression speed work. ha ha. Today was rough, I haven't ran in a couple of days and lost some stamina. Thats a quick fix though! After my run, I did 20 ish minutes of elliptical

7 miles in 65 minutes. Ran 9:22 pace and 9:05 pace alternating every five minutes. 25 minutes elliptical. I just realized I ran faster yesterday then I thought.. I ran 8:34 pace for a few minutes yesterday, I double checked when I was on the TM today.

| | I have a huuuuuuuuuuuge knot in the left side of my lower back. I have iced it, and had my husband try to rub it out...It's still here. Not good. I have vacation in two days, and I would like to be able to run. Going to the chiropractor today. Hopefully that helps, but just in case anyone have any suggestions? | Add Comment |
| | Got my back worked on, and I think it helped, but still sore. A hour and a half of elliptical. Not going to try to run till Friday. :( Roy at the gym said the gym doesn't function with out me. Ha! I know that's not true, but it made me feel good. Thanks Roy!

| | One hour and 20 minutes on the arc trainer at Golds gym in St George. I was really hoping to run today, but I have a huge blister the size of a quarter from yesterday and it popped. I learned my lesson and bought some good running socks today, but I am a gimp and paid the price. Ugh, please get better soon! On the flip side... My vacation was AWESOME!!!!!!!! I even exercised 6 days with a total of 21.90 miles. My goal is to get to 30- 35 a week. So getting closer. Pretty proud of myself. :) | Add Comment |
| | I woke up this morning completely confused, I had forgotten I was back home in Utah--county that is. It feels good to be back. I will miss the cardio cinema but not as much as I missed my friends! Eeek! I can almost walk normally on my blister foot! :) :) :) Yay! Maybe I will be able to run tomorrow or Wednesday. Happy Holiday (even though it was really yesterday). Can't wait to see how everyone did in Speedy Spaniard! Happy Monday all! | Comments(2) |

| | 7 miles in 62 minutes. :D Its not any record pace, but a few months ago, I could only run 6 miles in about 60 minutes. This is pretty huge for me ! After I ran I did sit ups and was about to kill over when out of nowhere a little birdie flew in and "You can do it put your back into it!" and off she flew... quite literally too, shes hauls ;) after I did the elliptical and got to talk to one of my besties. We laughed and talked. She is a runner too! I told her about frb. Best work out I have had in a while. I realized that when I work out alone, I really push myself and reach new goals, but I am so grateful for all my friends. I really am. People are what matters most in life, and I am so grateful I have friends to listen and care about me. | Add Comment |
| | Ran up canyon road turned left at the light house straight to the Golds Gym, down on to main street, up to the high school, ran 1 mile at the track, and then back home. I ran solo today and I know I went slow slow slow. Thats okay though, its Sunday. :) It was a little harder route, especially going up hill on canyon road, but good. Started running at 6:15 and got done at about 7:12. So my GUESS was about 5 to 6 miles and I was close I just drove my car and found out the mileage and its about 5.6 -5.7 miles. | Comments(8) |
