I had a small wheat thin explosion yesterday, but at least it has fiber and considered somewhat healthy. I guess I'll forgive myself, and realize it's okay sometimes and just do better :)

Sit ups. 6.58 miles on the TM with a good friend Ginnie. I have a lot to learn from this gal! :) 30 ish minutes elliptical with Julie and Jess. Good times.

I REALLY wanted to run today, but my knee and back were sore yesterday so I didn't think I should. As I got to the gym it so happens all the TMS were taken anyways. Ha. Sit ups 30 minutes elliptical 1 hour arc trainer. I had a conversation with Jim, the same conversation we always have about muscle confusion. He either 1- Is trying to hint something to me  or 2- has a bad memory.  lol, oh well !  TGIF!

Going to keep my goal by going at least 4 times a week. (Which I accomplished this week!) Starting Tuesday, I have to go! Ginnie has something to give me! :P

Walked around the river trail with my husband. He caught a little snake, it was cute. Harmless, but It still gave me the creepy crawlers! lol. Not really exercise but we walked for a good 40 minutes. So I'll count it. Happy Sabbath.

Happy Labor Day! (even though I have to work) That's okay, I prefer to make my *own* three day weekend when its not so crowded. (That's me trying to be positive!)

This is just me writing that I will be working out tomorrow to hold myself accountable. :)

3 sets of sit ups. 45 minutes arc trainer. 5.12 miles on the TM in 45 minutes. The last mile I got down to a 8:12 minute mile pace... which is the fastest I have ever ran! I felt I could have gone longer, but I needed to go and get ready for work. Got off the TM pain free. No soreness. Nothing! :)

I think having a warm up BEFORE I ran made a huge difference.

4 Set of sit ups. 45 minutes arc trainer. 45 minutes on the TM. Got down to a 7:53 minute pace at one point! Though I only held it for 5 or so minutes. Didn't want to hurt myself. Though I did keep a average of 8:34 :) Which is good for me ! Getting better!

A few sit ups. 1 hour and 5 minutes arc trainer (interval training)-with different levels. 30 minutes elliptical. (cool down) and then 4 miles in 34:45 minutes on the TM at 8:41 pace. These miles were hard, only because I did it last and had already burned a lot of fuel already, but I pushed through it and survived. :)

The Spanish Fork Half is today. It's the one I originally wanted to do before I got hurt and James lost his job because 1. It's cheap 2. It's in town 3. it's on a Saturday 4. Its late in the summer. AND I just found out it right by my house! :) Go little runners!

I don't know what race I will do, but I hope over the next year  I  can progressively get better with out getting any serious injuries.

Here's to good health!

Over the weekend, James and I got a Hamster. His name is Izzy. 1st of all I gotta say I am pretty proud of myself, because I for one am scared of Mice. He is cute and he runs on his wheel. It reminds me of a little mini TM. A Hamster can run up to 8 miles in a night! INSANE. He is tiny! I thought that was interesting.

Anyways... I am just writing on here to hold myself accountable. I am planning to be eating good today, and hitting the gym tomorrow. Hold me to it!

Sit ups. 45 minutes elliptical with Miss Julie who let me listen to some AWESOME SONGS on her ipod! Thanks Julz ! 9.15 miles on TM at a AT LEAST 8:34 minute pace. I got down to a 7:53 at one point and kept it there for a few minutes. Merri came at the last of my run, I looked really sweaty I am sure, but she talked to me about interval training and how to do it.. Since I am getting faster, I am thinking about doing this once a week???

Today got me kind of excited. I haven't run this far in a while. It wasn't bad at all. I know I could do a half. :) Who knows maybe Ill surprise myself and do one this year after all.

I achieved my goal of working out 4 times this week. If I do this two more weeks in a row, that will make a month! *crosses fingers* Keep encouraging me! I NEED this during the fall/winter when I consume all the chocolate gooey goodness!

Cafe Rio Saturday's. I'm gonna get me some porky salad tonight! (never gets old)

Sit ups. (I am starting to actually see results from this! So exciting) It makes me think maybe I might want to do some more strength training and weights. :)

1 hour arc machine (Three minutes on level 35 Three minutes on level 60 alternating) --I think this is good for cardio fitness but also for muscle strength in the your legs and booty when you have a higher level.

Thirty minutes on the TM. The first half I did interval training. So I did a 8:12 minute pace for 60 seconds and then did a 11:00 minute pace (so a light jog- practically walking) for 60 seconds alternating. The second half I did a a 8:41 minute pace. Didn't do much running. My legs are STILL sore.

30 minute cool down on the elliptical.

Came home and drank a full glass of Green tea to kick start my metabolism.
